"The strong in spirit wear bright clothes of fire.
They dance and burn. The light is worth the pain.
The light is worth the pain.
The pain stops when the flame dies out."
~Hugh Blumenfeld
"When you fight Death and lose to him or what might yet be worse
You win to find the wreck he left regards you with a curse."
~Mercedes Lackey
"Catch on fire with enthusiasm and people will come for miles to watch you burn."
~Fortune Cookie from 6/14/2012 (no joke)
"We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered."
~Tom Stoppard
"You're making me bored. You won't like me when I'm bored."

Character Sheet 9/29/12 (download the file to actually see stats; preview is blank)
Mask A slightly shorter than average Caucasian woman with long vibrant red hair that moves in the slightest hint of a breeze. She is usually smiling, almost always moving, and extremely graceful. She is also quite strong, built like a dancer or gymnast, and her hands are calloused, but she has no fingerprints. Katie is reasonably pretty, but she is noticeable because of her liveliness and friendly demeanor rather than sheer beauty. There is a large tattoo across her entire lower back, of flames and a flaming tree, that seems to move as she does, the muscles allowing it a semblance of activity.
Mien Katie's mien is actually very similar to her mask, with the notable exception of her hair. In reality, her hair is composed of heatless flame that dances around her head, sometimes spreading to include more of her body. It recently acquired blue tongues as well as red, orange and yellow. Her fingertips glow like hot coals, and don't have fingerprints. In addition, while her mask shows that she is strong, it is not a defining trait. In her mien, there is no excess fat or poorly toned muscle anywhere. Any mass on her body has a function, and while she is clearly not a body-builder, she is obviously stronger than average for a woman of her height and weight. Finally, the tattoo is truly mobile in her mien. Even when she is still, the flames flicker and writhe, and the leaves and branches of the fire tree move in the wind. If you look very closely, for long enough, you might be able to see a tiny piece of it, over her left hip, moves in a different direction from the rest.

Seeming Blessing: Elementals, touched as they are by the stuff of the world, are able to channel the forces and materials that define them into their bodies, giving them an uncanny ability to shrug off punishment. Once per day, the character can spend one point of glamour to add the character's Wyrd rating to his Health dots for the rest of the scene. These follow the normal rules for temporary Health dots (see the World of Darkness Rulebook, p.173).
Seeming Curse: The Elementals are further removed from humanity than other changelings, and find humans harder to understand and to influence. An Elemental doesn't get the benefit of the 10 again rule on any dice pools involving the Manipulation Attribute and the Skills Empathy, Expression, Persuasion or Socialize.
Kith Ability: Flickering Acumen - like a flame, the Fireheart's faculties are bright and constantly on the move. The player can spend points of Glamour to add to Wits-based dice pools, on a one for one basis.
Clavager Bonus: Can use Mantle in place of lowest of Dexterity or Composure for determining Initiative. Add Spring Mantle instead of doubling Defense when taking a Dodge action. Add a +2 to all Wits-based perception checks. All active only while on duty.
