When activated, this clause blinds its victim, fading the subject’s vision into darkness. The subject is not helpless, though. Iron is anathema to faerie magic and can clear most of the caul from their eyes. A successful Resolve+Composure test allows the subject to touch one of their eyes with a piece of iron, as long as they have some handy. This takes a Movement action and must be attempted separately for each eye.
While blind, the victim is reduced to a chance die on all rolls which use sight. In combat, they suffer the Fighting Blind complication. After clearing one eye, they suffer a -5 penalty to all rolls which use sight, and clearing both eyes ends the clause entirely.
