A small, plain leather pouch tied with a waxed cord. Smells of fish and worms. Any diminuitive creature placed into the bag is effectively suspended in time. The creature will not die of any natural cause and can be removed for later use. This works on things like a mouse, frog, or some worms, as well as picked fruit. The duration of magical effects does continue as normal, however, so berries enhanced by the Goodberry spell will remain edible indefinitely, but will lose their magic in a few days.
Blake found this bag for sale by a shopkeep in Riverton who did not realize the bag was magical.
This flowing gemstone ring sharpens the bearer’s mind. It grants a +2 enhancement bonus to Intelligence.
Blake bought and then enchanted this stone after the battle of the northern temple.
This fiery red stone enhances the bearer’s mind, opening it further to the mysteries of Chireus. It grants a +4 enhancement modifier to Wisdom.
Bonito bought and then enchanted this stone after the battle of the northern temple.
This small, unassuming candle remains lit at all times, even when stored. Thankfully, it will only set fire to things that the bearer wishes to be burned. The candle’s flame is empowered by Chireus and acts as a holy focus for spells.
This was originally a plain candle in Calana’s travelling bag. It gained its magic when she lit it from the undying flame at a Chireus’ temple.
This greatsword is blessed by Chireus. It acts as a +1 greatsword and is good aligned and chaos aligned for bypassing DR.
Bonito carried this sword with him before it was magical. During Queen Tamasa’s attack on King Edward II, he swung toward the invader queen as she teleported away with King Edward. Though he was unable to harm her or prevent the teleportation, Chireus was pleased at his actions and emblazoned the sword with an etching of her holy symbol.
Benam’s warhammer is a fearsome weapon and holy symbol of Moradin, bearing a spark within it from the god’s soul forge.
The hammer is a +1 magical weapon and is good aligned and law aligned for bypassing DR.
After having M’tach’s control purged from his mind, he used the temple’s forge to create a masterwork hammer. While working, he received a vision of Moradin and a spark of the god’s power settled upon the hammer.
This ornate golden depiction of the dragon god Chireus is decorated lavishly with precious jewels and has a small area with with to hold it aloft. It is a blessed relic of the church and allows its bearer to bestow the favor of Chireus on their allies. Once per day, the bearer may cast Bless, granting all allies a +1 morale bonus on attacks and saves vs fear which lasts three minutes. The icon must be held where it could be seen by the beneficiaries in order to activate its ability.
The Golden Icon was one of three equally ornate relics that Bonito found in the reliquary of the abandoned church of Chireus in Fort Varays. The other two relics were precious, but not blessed like this icon.
Marcus is covered in intricate tattoos. They give his unarmed attacks a +1 magical bonus to hit and to damage. By using one charge of Stunning Fist, he can roar fire through the stylized dragons on each fist, gaining the Flaming quality for one round per character level.
The tattoos cover his arms and upper body in dragon-like scales. They depict serpentine dragons wrapped around his forearms onto his biceps which cross and merge into the scaled design on his back. Each dragon ends in a roaring dragon’s head on each fist, with a separate scale pattern on the skin not covered by the dragons. The insides of his forearms bear ritual scars in the form of the holy symbol of Chireus, and a depiction of the god is highlighted across his chest.
Marcus began making these tattoos after his faith in Chireus was established.
When filled with incense and lit, this censer grants a bonus to certain skill rolls. Concentration and all Knowledge rolls gain a +5 bonus while the character is near the lit censer.
This particular censer belonged to High Priestess Winifred Bailey, formerly of Dunerreped. In the last days of monsters’ siege on her city, she locked the censer and her personal prayer book in a sturdy box for use by those faithful to Seredozhia.
It was found by Blake and taken to the capitol, where it presumably stayed with King Edward.
This finely turned and polished wooden wand acts as a focus for its wielder’s arcane magic. Once per day, it will grant a +1 bonus on the attack roll to hit with a ranged touch attack. It is usable one more time per day for every three caster levels past the third that its wielder possesses (2 at level 6, 3 at level 9, etc.).
The College of Balie Rowe lent this particular wand to Blake.
This small, pocket-sized book is bound in a leather cover and emblazoned with the holy symbol of Seredozhia. Its first few pages are filled with prayers and litanies to the goddess. The remaining pages are blank. Though it looks to have maybe 100 pages, more blank ones keep appearing as the pages are turned. In this way, it can store a potentially unlimited amount of text.
The pages of the prayer book appear different to each person who holds the book, showing them only what they have personally written.
Arcane casters are able to scribe a single spell into the book’s pages, much like a scroll, but without creation costs. When cast from the prayer book, the spell is sanctified. It becomes good-aligned and gains additional effects from Seredozhia.
This particular prayer book belonged to High Priestess Winifred Bailey, formerly of Dunerreped. In the last days of monsters’ siege on her city, she locked the book and a holy censer in a sturdy box for use by those faithful to Seredozhia.
Blake found that box and kept the book for herself, with the blessing of King Edward and of Seredozhia herself.
This small, ornate wooden chest is blessed with a warding enchantment: it can only be opened by a genuine worshipper of Seredozhia. It remains stubbornly shut for anyone else.
This safebox was held by High Priestess Winifred Bailey, who used it to safeguard her most precious possessions. It was in this box that Blake discovered the High Priestess’ prayer book and meditation censer. The box remains in Blake’s possession.
This ear jewelry takes the form of a silver dragon bearing aloft an entrancing opal. It allows the wearer to use Speak with Animals for 9 minutes per day. These minutes can be used all at once, or split up into multiple uses. Each use lasts at least one minute.
Mags had the jewelry made in Thalis by a local artisan, then enchanted it after the battle of the northern temple.
This holy symbol of Chireus protects its wearer from mental influence. While worn, the symbol prevents any attempt to possess the wearer similar to Protection from Evil.
Bonito created this holy symbol himself, then enchanted it to aid newly risen people who may suffer from the unwanted voice of a nu’hol in their minds.
This hardy tabbard is in the traditional style of the travelling priests of Chireus. It is a rare example of a blessed relic of the dragon god, bestowing its wearer with a minor boon. Once per day, the wearer can benefit from the Blur spell, gaining a 20% miss chance from concealment against all attacks for 2 minutes.
These vestments were discovered by Bonito in an abandoned church of Chireus in the town of Fort Varays. They were in a cupboard, so perhaps the previous caretakers did not know they were blessed.
