Carmen comes from a wealthy American family. She attended Vanderbilt in the same class as Jane and awakened during spring of her senior year. The school rumors said she had gotten a bad drug addiction thanks to the madness from her mystery play. Once awake, she caught back up on her studies with Jane’s help, just squeaking by enough to graduate.
Since then, her public life is as a high-end luxury saleswoman, peddling yachts and private jets to the global elite. Secretly, she travels the world with magic and steals everything she can find.
Carmen is a carefree, stereotypical “rich bitch”. She loves getting into trouble and does her best to drag Jane along for the ride, to little protest. She has a driving ambition that pushes her to not only do her family proud, but to surpass their riches and gain notoriety of her own.
While very skilled, Carmen’s need for attention makes her leave distinctive calling cards at every one of her heists. It’s bitten her before, but she can’t seem to shake the habit.
